Both are very handsome men, but one can’t take either of 'em TOO seriously.

Their weapons must also be fashion accessories.

(Here’s hoping Hal’s hand doesn’t actually end up attacking HIM –- though it would be funny, wouldn’t it?)
So, there you have it. Plus, if you think for one moment that Bruce Campbell has never been hit in the head... HA! AND, admittedly, neither Bruce nor Hal are exactly A-list in their respective universes (Hal can never quite get out of the shadows of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman -- and is only this summer getting his first solo [and animated] film) -- but OH how their fans adore them.

(Modest, ain't he?)

Your comparison is apt. So very very apt. And coincidentally, I happen to adore Bruce Campbell...as all right thinking people do.
I really only watched the Spider-Man movies for a glimpse of the Bruce Campbell cameos.
Hal's severed hand attacking him? Wouldn't surprise me AT ALL.
Wow... you're 100% correct. Bruce Campbell should play Hal in any Green Lantern movies...
I love you so much right now...
scary isn't it? XD
First, I will always remember Bruce as Brisco County Jr.
Second, all I could think of when Hal and Julie got each other's names wrong was how she was probably offended that he didn't remember hers...
...I am amazed at how near-identical the facial expression of Hal and Bruce are in those severed hand pics.
Then again... who's Bruce Campbell?
:o
Ah, Bruce Campbell: King (arguably) of all B-movie actors. And a darned likable B-movie actor, at that. Look for a movie called Evil Dead 2. That's a good place to start introducing yourself to Mr. Campbell's work. :-)
