The Greatest Comic-Book Sound Effect in the History of the Universe
First, here's the setup: Captain Britain, Kitty Pryde, Ferro(2), and Bodybag (that's the big green lizard-thing) are examining the remains of Kitty's teddy bear, which Bodybag has just partially ingested:

Sublime is definitly the word for it. Oh Lord, how I do love Alan Davis.
Love those issues. And now I can't find them, but it was just released in trade...tempting, even though I know they're around here somewhere.
The bit where Brian loses his place is probably my favorite moment for that character.
Alan Davis does have a great sense of humor. :-) I really, really wish he would do a Green Lantern "Elseworlds" story. Some of his redesigns of GLC members are quite intriguing. He makes them look much more alien than any other artist I can think of.
