Mighty Mite makes her debut!

Presenting Mighty Mite, born Saturday, February 23! She's disgustingly healthy, VERY alert, VERY active, and very good-natured -- she cries only when it's something serious ("MY DIAPER'S WET, darnit!"). She also hates having her hands and arms restrained in any way. Wrap her in a blanket, and she yanks her arms out as quickly as she can. She's downright ferocious about it, in fact. So much for the whole "swaddling" idea.

Mighty Mite is also, already displaying an independent streak.

Oooooh, I think Mr. Sea and I are in big, big trouble!

Back to regular posting in another week or so!

Is that the baby power salute I see? You may be in more trouble than you suspect...

And congratulations. If your private self is at all like the one you display in your blog that is one lucky baby to have you as a parent...

Well, she has that whole "flying through the air with one fist raised" thing going already.

Seriously, she is insanely adorable. Gosh, I love babies. Their skin smells so sweet, and they have fuzzin in their tiny tiny toes and fingers. They also have this habit of bloorfing all over your shoulder when you burp them, so be sure to put something there, or you'll be going through a LOT of shirts.

Congratulations!!!
